BURNET COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY

ELECTION WORKER

A great way to support the democratic process in Burnet County is to serve as an Election Judge, an Election Clerk, or a Poll Watcher. You can work during Early Voting and on Election Day. You will be assigned to one of the precincts where you will team with other poll workers to set up the voting machines and process the ballots. It's a chance to meet the voters and a valuable contribution to the elections process.

For Election Judges and Clerks, the Burnet County Elections Administration Office conducts classroom training prior to the start of Early Voting. They also offer an online version of the training on their website. You can contact your Precinct Chair or County Chair for information.

If you are interested in being a Poll Watcher, the Texas Secretary of State offers online training. Upon completion you must print a certificate for your County Chair to sign before you will be allowed into polling locations as a Poll Watcher.
